3.Table Tennis Racket – Also known as a bat or paddle, it has a wooden blade and rubber coverings on both sides. The rubber affects spin and speed and the grip style impacts how you hold the racket. The bat which meets ITTF standards is only allowed for use in the Olympics. 

4.Appropriate attire and shoes – Comfortable athletic clothing for free movement and lightweight and non-marking shoes for proper footwork are recommended.
